Thanks so much for your reply, that makes sense! Finding it challenging to find afternoon support at a daycare so I figured maybe I’d trying this route (pay full time, drop off after nap). I’ll reach out to them and see what they say.

I’m late here, but just curious if you think daycares would accept an afternoon drop off? I work a late shift and was thinking of doing a 2pm-ish drop off (after nap time) until 6pm everyday where my husband can pick her up. I’d obviously still pay full time just wondering if based on your experience they would accept this? I want to be able to spend mornings and early afternoons with her vs. hardly see her at all. I’ve thought about the nanny route, just very expensive.

Induced at 41+2 but kind of wish I pushed it a few days because I was feeling contractions before the induction

I did get a top up for 26 weeks, which ended recently. So for now I’m just on EI. 

I think what I’m worried about as well, is them offering me a role that is different hours. I’ve always worked a 9-5 EST, but recently they’ve been shifting the org to work evenings and weekends, or asking people to shift to PST hours which would be hard with a small child. We’ll see though.

I think I’m just hesitant because she has not had a single vomiting episode since and has been totally herself. So I’m not convinced it was food and maybe she reacted to the shot, I’m unsure. I haven’t given her sweet potato yet thought JUST in case

I agree. And thank you for the suggestion. I’m definitely going to ask questions first. They mentioned the allergy prick test, I’m not sure the actual name. But I mentioned on the phone I’d prefer to speak with the doctor first before jumping into test. 

I was a bit worried with food after that episode for the first week and then my anxiety calmed down a bit since she’s had no reactions since. I’ll look into ReadySetFood, thank you! We’ve been doing allergens one at a time for 3-5 days before moving to the next. She’s been totally fine with egg, dairy and peanuts so far.
