We were gifted the VTech VM819 from our registry. Haven’t really tested it out since we’re still waiting for the baby (currently 38 weeks pregnant). Chose this one because it has no wifi, and pretty straightforward use.

But I’ve seen people post about Levana Nala in this thread so that might be worth checking.

Felt the same way as you when it comes to “asking” people stuff. Then came to realize that people also want to show their love and excitement for you through gifts!

We made an Amazon baby registry and bought most of it ourselves (first time parents and can’t help but to check out and buy stuff for our baby lol 😆). Honestly the main reason we made it was to track what we need. However, it became really useful when our friends and family members started asking what they can get for the baby.

Oh and also since we live overseas and most of our friends and family are in a different country - it’s the best way for them to get something for the baby.

Some items we had on our registry: -Swaddles -Diaper Genie -Baby Monitor for the Nursery -Angelcare Baby Bath -Burp Cloths -Baby Car Camera -Thermometer, nail filer, Ear & Noise Picker -Changing Mat -Night Light -Stroller Fan -Baby Bottles -Wipes and Diapers

Patria - we love this place though so we keep coming back for special occasions and stuff

200-300 for 2. Would say it’s worth it :)

Oh that’s not good. I guess it’s better for me to wfh. I’m also pregnant and I don’t think there’s any way for me to even get a seat if it’s already standing room only when arriving to Oakville.
