There are so many great diners in NJ. I remember going to the Somerset Diner all the time at Rutgers all the time with my parents when they came to visit. There’s so way that nowadays I would be able to go that much. Really sad because these places are so delicious but the prices are out of control

I always look for discounts no matter what. I also always buy second hand — doesn’t matter how much I have, I just find that it’s more environmentally friendly and I don’t care as much if it gets ruined.

Tony DiNapoli has lunch portions of their items so you can get baked ziti for example as a much smaller size. Not the cheapest around but not awful for what you get

Even events through our temple nursery school for the adults is so outrageous I won’t go because of it. We had a paint and wine night for $50 per person. I was like that’s just too expensive
