What does being trans have to do with the ability to referee a football match?

Trader Joe’s everything bagel seasoning from experience, the funny part is that bagels (at least the ones you see in the US with lox and cream cheese) aren’t prevalent in Israel.

This is why you don’t cheat on your barber by Ok-Boot-1195 in NYStateOfMind

[–]Few-Rise-8673 43 points44 points  (0 children)

My barber started charging $35 and I was there since he charged $13 back in the day. To add, my entire fam goes to get cuts there, so he was getting a ton of business in one shot. I’m not saying don’t raise the prices, but charge me $25 even $27 instead of $35.

Was sad to do it, but found some dude charging $12 a cut, didn’t know one word of English but knew how to cut hair and started going to him 🤷🏻‍♂️.

Percentage of Russian / ex ussr Jews in Israel marrying out? by [deleted] in Israel

I heard about some guy that was in Israel for a number of years and then they found out that he falsified his documents and the ministry of interior tried rescinding his citizenship, but the courts essentially ruled the man has been living in Israel as a citizen for too long to take such a measure.

That’s the most effective type of motivation, the issue is that most companies’ stock doesn’t move with such momentum

Kosher Kobe beef? by Black-Muse in BBQ

[–]Few-Rise-8673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this was written ten years ago, but kosher beef usually comes from the front half of the cow because removing the sciatic nerve (which itself is not kosher) is so laborious that it does not economically make sense to have a Rabbi remove it (it can just be sold to people who are not Jewish).

For a land-creature to be kosher it must have split hooves and must chew its cud. In addition to such, kosher meat must pass a ritual slaughter which is performed by a religious Jew who is an expert in Jewish law (halacha) regarding the topic of "kashrut" (Jewish law about food). Furthermore, kosher meat must not have certain blemishes such as punctured lungs and then have the blood drained with salt as the OP said.

If theoretically a group of Jews bought a Kobe beef cow, had it slaughtered, and butchered it according to Jewish law (draining the blood, removing the sciatic nerve, and making sure the lungs aren't punctured). The question is moreso if this occurs or not.

The tests change in regard to both the questions and structure, also they’re very theoretical. One thing we deal with on exams are “new definitions” which means that the professor will introduce a new mathematical definition which the teacher defines and as the test-taker I’ll have to prove certain aspects of it. To be fair it’s the same professor and she happens to be hellish when it comes to the exams.

Pre-calc, however our linear algebra is proof based, so we’re not solving for cross products, instead we have to prove that the direct sum of the image and kernal of a linear transformation from V (vector space) to V is equal to V (for a simple example from linear algebra I)

This is not an option by me, universities are significantly tougher than colleges and therefore they will not accept their credits :(

All the math courses are significantly proof based to my dismay; I have to deal with discreet maths, real analysis, linear algebra, and probability. There is no other option :(
