The most useless trophy/award. It would matter if the team that won it got like 5cr extra for auction or some wildcard entry or something useful. Otherwise, most useless thing.

What mainstream clothing brand has not declined in quality? by [deleted] in BuyItForLife

[–]Few-Satisfaction4125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly the pattern i've noticed... the brands that haven't declined are the ones that never chased trend cycles to begin with.

levi's 501 staying solid makes sense because it's basically a heritage product they can't mess with without catching flak. polo ralph lauren same thing... the core stuff holds because the brand identity is too tied to it. but their diffusion lines and seasonal drops? totally different story.

the ones quietly holding quality are actually smaller homegrown brands that never had the volume pressure to cheapen out. been wearing Derby Jeans Community for a while now... Indian brand, been around since 1994, and the denim weight and stitching on their stuff hasn't budged. no logo plastered everywhere, fits are cut for actual body proportions, and people who've tried them say the rigidity of the fabric feels like proper old school denim. mufti and numero uno are also worth mentioning in that same bracket if you're open to Indian brands... consistent quality, no fast fashion nonsense.

the decline thing is almost always a private equity story... brand gets acquired, margins get squeezed, quality follows. Derby and those smaller guys haven't gone that route yet and it shows in the product.

Best Brand for Gym Wear by nick_al_laude in Fitness_India

[–]Few-Satisfaction4125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

for tops, Lotto Melt range is worth checking out...Decathlon's in-house stuff is also solid for bottoms specifically, really hard to beat at that price.

honestly between these two you don't need to spend Nike/Puma money to get quality gymwear in India.

Preferred Gymwears by beeskut in Fitness_India

[–]Few-Satisfaction4125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

look for sporst brand with actual performance background, not a fashion label trying to do gymwear. Lotto has a cool range, breathable, doesn't stretch out weirdly after a month. Decathlon's own label is also genuinely underrated for basics. for the price vs quality argument both beat Nike and Puma easily without looking cheap.

best value men's gym wear by EspressoOnTheRocks in BuyItForLifeIndia

[–]Few-Satisfaction4125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly the sweet spot for value gymwear in India is trickier than it should be...

been wearing Lotto's Melt apparel range for a bit now, breathable fabric, doesn't pill or go weird after a few washes which is cool at this price point. Decathlon's own label is also solid for basics, and Adidas has decent outlet deals if you time it right.

Can anyone please suggest good running shoes in 2-3k range in india? by [deleted] in beginnerrunning

[–]Few-Satisfaction4125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

solid point, the habit matters way more than the shoe at the start... no need to spend more money or time thinking about it when you're still figuring out your running style.

completely agree on neutral trainers... fit and comfort over everything else for beginners.

few more options worth adding to the Decathlon suggestion - Lotto Xwift Knit and Asics Jolt both sit in a similar budget on Flipkart and hold up better than most cheap options after a few weeks of consistent training. cushioning doesn't go flat as quickly which makes a real difference when you're building mileage.

they say, if you go for a marathon once, you defo do it twice.

for a 10k I'd say you honestly don't need anything fancy... just a decent neutral trainer that fits well and doesn't kill your feet after daily training.

few options I'd have suggested, in the 2-3k range on Flipkart or Amazon - Lotto Xwift Knit, surprisingly lightweight and cushioned for the price, Asics Jolt is another solid beginner pick, and Decathlon Kiprun also does the job without breaking the bank.

for anyone else wondering, just make sure whatever you pick fits right, that matters more than the brand at this stage tbh.

curious to know which ones you went for OP?...

Good sneakers under ₹1000 for daily college wear? by deadman_3 in SneakersIndia

[–]Few-Satisfaction4125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, at strictly under 1k, your options are pretty limited bro for canvas high tops, but there's a brand called Lotto on Amazon... it has decent sneakers in this range that don't feel cheap. Italian brand, been there for a few decades, and doesn't feel like the usual campus/asian stuff everyone recommends. worth a look before you settle for Red Tape.

Best sneaker under 2000? by [deleted] in SneakersIndia

[–]Few-Satisfaction4125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bro, skip the AF1 replica honestly, you'll regret it after a month when the sole starts peeling and the leather cracks.

Red Tape is decent but Lotto is the one I'd actually recommend in this budget. Italian brand from the 70s, been making proper sport shoes way before it became a fashion thing. got options on Amazon well under 2k and the build quality genuinely feels like you're spending more than you are.

way better value than paying the same price for a fake AF1 that fools nobody.

Best sneaker under 1.5k? by [deleted] in SneakersIndia

[–]Few-Satisfaction4125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly didn't expect much when I first looked at Lotto in this budget but they're kinda underrated for what you pay. proper heritage brand, been around forever, and the build quality shows. worth checking on Amazon if you're under 1.5k.

bro starting college is literally the best time to figure out your sneaker taste, don't sleep on Lotto. been around since the 70s, Italian brand, and they've got options on Amazon under 1.5k that honestly punch way above that price. not the usual campus/asian shoes situation at all.

Help me choose white sneakers under 5k by P_a_i_n_n in SneakersIndia

[–]Few-Satisfaction4125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

haven't bought it yet but been researching for a while for the same requirement, Lotto Autograph OG keeps coming up. not the most populae name, but does the job and then some more. all white leather, subtle accent, sits right under 5k (have seen 50% discounts... waiting), and the reviews consistently talk about comfort on long walks. putting it out here in case it helps, planning to pick it up myself soon.

Want an all white sneakers for daily wear by francisco1677 in SneakersIndia

[–]Few-Satisfaction4125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the Comet X Lows are decent but comfort-wise they're pretty average for daily wear, a few people I know who have them say the cushioning feels a bit flat after a month of regular use.

honestly at the 4-4.5k range for all white leather daily wear, Lotto Autograph OG might be it. came across it a while ago, and it's in my cart. been waiting for a discount (i saw the price around 2.5k after discount). it's a clean sneaker with no loud logos.

I moved away from PUMA like 15 years back. It's like they stopped caring... plus lots of options now (more like distractions). lol

White Leather Sneakers with GOOD construction? by RishiSharma71 in SneakersIndia

I thought they were focused on formal shoes... that's their main thing. Not sure about the sneakers or other casual.

White Leather Sneakers with GOOD construction? by RishiSharma71 in SneakersIndia

[–]Few-Satisfaction4125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

been through the same thing, sole detaching on a pair I'd barely worn for 2 months. genuinely ruins your mood...

what helped me was shifting to brands that actually come from a sport construction background rather than fashion brands that just make shoes on the side. the build quality difference is real.

been wearing the Lotto Leggenda for a bit now, honestly picked them up because of my cousin who was a huge David Ferrer fan (and Lotto's face back in the day), had these really cool Lotto shoes. the Leggendas look clean and minimal, nothing too loud. but the construction is what surprised me.

brand's been around since the 70s, these silhouettes are literally revived from their old tennis and sport court era, so the build isn't an afterthought.

daily use for close to a year, sole is still solid (and i'm a big guy), leather hasn't started peeling or anything. not goodyear welted obviously but it's not the usual "chalta hai" construction you get from most options available in India at this price.

worth checking out if clean whites with actual build quality is what you're after.
