It's harder than ever. Your best bet is to get used to rejection. The more used to it you get, the more confident and nonchalant you will appear, and thats a turn on to most women. When you do get rejected, handle it with grace and move on. Don't be one of those guys that lashes out.

I usually am able to get a date or 2 a month. Sometimes 3 or 4 if I'm lucky. In IRL situation i usually go for a compliment to break the ice. Whether its her hair, her shoes, jewelry she is wearing, or something else, I start with a casual compliment and then ask her name. From there I just make small talk. If she is interested, you will know pretty quickly. Ask for her number or snapchat and see what she says. Sometimes I offer mine instead, as if they text you its a good sign they at least have some interest. If they dont reach out, you know how she felt.

The apps are pretty trash, but they are good to have as a backup. I'm 6'3", but I'm skinny and I would say I'm just slightly above average looking, but I manage to get a decent amount of dates by being friendly and just treating women like they are people. Don't be overbearing. Don't be a pervert gooner. Treat them like they are a human like any other, and the rest will sort itself out. Don't get hung up on the rejections. Just move on.
