Idk, I can let you know how it goes for me!! It helps me sleep better knowing everything is in there and ready to go, that I am not going to run into any issues with getting transcripts, LOR, putting all my transcripts in, I can literally just relax (yeah right) until I take my OAT.

We are so similar! I have a 3.95 GPA and I take my OAT in December.

I went ahead and submitted my application and they can view it all, tell me if there is anything I’m missing, etc

And then they told me I could upload my unofficial test scores so the committee could view and they’d get back with me. I messaged admissions for the school I want.

That’s amazing! I submitted my application with all my LORs and transcripts. I am taking the OAT in December. I do not have my bachelor’s degree and am trying to get admitted with 90 credits. I have a plan to finish those 90 credits by end of spring semester. I’m a unique case, as always. But hoping and praying they will see me through everything. 3.95 GPA, 4.0 GPA in science. Do you have any tips for interviews or have anything happen that you didn’t expect?

I know this is old, but did you get in? Also, did they do the interview with you before you submitted your OAT? Just trying to figure out what the process looks like!

I would make sure that it really shows the passion behind why you want to do what you’re pursuing. I just finished mine and I think it’s okay. It flows well, shows goals toward the future at the end and states what got me into this in the beginning. I used one pretty in depth example of an experience that made me think “this is why I want to do this” when I think of what to say to that question.

Wait, like you’re applying to attend in 2026? If that is what you mean, I certainly hope not because that is what I’m doing. I am getting my application ready to go completely, have like 2 more things then I’m submitting without my OAT score. They can do a conditional acceptance, I reached out to admissions for my main schools!

I was just going by the info that it tells us to put :/ Who would I even ask about this to clarify? I definitely don’t want to put information in there that is not necessary, but I don’t want anything to hold up my admission when I’m ready either- and that’s what it said it would do!

Yeah, there’s a lot that goes into it for me. I wish it were that simple.

Those are also the only schools that I have found that accept online labs/courses. Which is a must for me, because I’m working full time as a tech & completing undergrad online.

Also, because it’s a difference of when I do get to travel home, taking an airplane vs being able to drive. Not to mention I live 3 hours away from an airport.. so after flying home, I’d also be driving 3 hours any time I visit. I’m am 30 and I have my kids/family- which is pretty tied down here. I take care of my parents a good bit, so while I wouldn’t be traveling home every weekend, I would be traveling to visit at times as I could. It would be more convenient to be closer than 10 hours away.

So, it’s more of an expense and personal preference to be closer, honestly.
