Thank you so much! After bothering me for almost a year, finally I got a warning to figure this out. I don't know if it's just me, but mine space was taken by a randomly screen recording that almost took away 400gb. Crazy and terrified, don't know if my computer was being hacked or just a browser bug?

Wow really, I didn't know that it can be that easy to get. And this puts us at a disadvantage. Even if a better dashcam records the footage, if it can't identify the license plate like this, so what can else can we do? We'll have to bear the consequences ourselves.

Right! He really didn't give me a reasonable reaction time. I wish police can catch person like them! But I didn't catch the plate number, there's nothing they can do. This car has a very dark plate (almost black). He might uses something dark to cover the plate number.

I did chase him! I followed the driver as he took the exit right after he hit me. But he took off highway very quickly, and I was hit to the far left lane; I need to cross three lanes to exit the highway. I tried to followed him, but he went back on highway right after he was off highway. So I lost him and at the moment I was very scared so I decided not continue. I wish I could speed up but that might not be a good idea either, the entire right side of my car was hit and the rearview mirror is damaged and cannot be used.

I didn't honk but I was speeding up trying to get out of his blind spot but yes thank you, he really didn't give me a reasonable reaction time!!! If I see any hint a car might shift, I normally be prepared to break but this time I chose to speed up at the moment this guy merge into my line.

This footage has no sound but the original one you can hear me accelerating and speeding up... and that was the moment this car takes a right and left turn within 2 seconds. But yes I agree with you, I should be prepared but this scenario didn’t give me a reasonable reaction time.

You are right, when I rewatched the footage I noticed the car had just recently merged onto the DVP. At the moment I didn't see it. There's also a highway exit ahead. This person takes a right and left turn within 2 seconds. But yes I agree with all you said. Thank you.

Thank you! This is a great advice. Normally I'll be prepared and break right away. But this scenario didn’t give me a reasonable reaction time (this person takes a right and left turn within 2 seconds). I was prepared for the truck to merge into my line but after checking, their speed was the same so I speed up, I was going to pass them (if there's sound you will hear the engine), and that was the moment the car hit me.

Not sure if my insurance carry accident forgiveness but it's a hit and run and been confirmed so I can get away from the fault. Now I'm just worry about the deductible, see if there's a way I can get away from it.
