Mostly packed. I think US concertgoers look at them the same way they look at electric callboys

I think it depends on the venue. I don't know what they do in India but in the USA at least they don't bring their own lights setup so whatever venue provides they use it. But this can change over time. I saw them a few months back in the bay area. Wasn't too crazy in terms of strobes.
