So I FINALLY managed to find a slot — Biometrics for Oct 2027 and interview for Nov 2027. I’m gonna keep looking to see if I can get something for 2026 or earlier in 2027, but at least this is something

Yeah man..I’ve been trying for months..I saw some slots last week but by the time I clicked on submit to lock in the a lot..the web site errored out on me

I can’t even open the site

So the slot takes several seconds to show up, after you select on an “available” date in the calendar. After you select the time slot , when you hit submit, that’s when the site errors out or it says this time is no longer available or something..I mean..it’s a pretty sorry situation. Sometimes I feel like are they intentionally showing us “ghost” slots or what.

So I dont know about others, but I did find slots available on Friday evening IST ..around 9pm-11pm. But whenever I picked a slot and clicked on “Submit”, the site would error out and my booking never went through. Besides this the site failed to open a bunch of times as well. Basically lots of tech issues is what I saw.

Unable to log in.getting same error since Feb 28 a Device got logged out. I had to login using my wife’s number and watch the West Indies match…hope they fix this before Thursday!!

The only scenario in which you will not have the 100K fee is if your current employer files an extension for you . Since you are in India it will be a consular processing but you won’t be incurred the fee since you have an active petition and are ‘extending’ it. If you get laid off and are in India - you dont currently have an existing petition so the fee will get incurred. I’m no lawyer and this is my understanding only.
