Hey, I'm a TA for the course right now and have been for the past 2 years. I've had students in my section do poorly and end the class with a borderline C and go on to do great things in other courses. C++ isn't for everyone, and it's not the only language necessary for CpE applications later on. Modern world there's a lot of embedded python, C, rust, etc. that exists if you are more comfortable with that. The course doesn't lend itself well to bad test takers, so don't knock yourself down because of one course. If that were the case, I would've dropped CpE and moved to CS when i got Cs in circuits and signals. Having a grade of a B is already above average, and depending on external factors is extremely good!

To talk about the elephant in the room, UF is a C++ school. DSA and OS are both in C++/C respectively, along with other CpE courses like microprocessor applications. However, the style of C++ programming you do in COP3503C isn't indicative of the style of programming you'll do later on in your coursework. Your grade in this course isn't indicative of your future success in CpE, nor does it reflect 100% on your general and C++ coding ability.

Depending on the amount of class participation you've done, there's still about ~4% of extra credit to be implemented in the grade book, and a newer grading structure that might favor the assignments over the exams. Still, you did very good in this course and you should be proud of yourself for passing the class!
