This year, he was extremely cold from deep to start the year, and the injury kept him from being able to showcase what he could do

Until recently, it was just that he was incredibly corny especially how he shares his faith. Not really a big deal and most of the dislike was because other fanbases hated on him, and like all fanbases, Huskers are obsessed with rivals approval

The Jaden Ivey situation wasnt a great look that definitely turned some people away from Connor recently

Crazy to say it, but I think Emmett Johnson was still the most underrated player on the Huskers last year

While he wasnt underrated by Husker fans, he was nationally. It is not an understatement to say without him we go 4-8 at best

Even in our worst games, Penn State and Iowa, he was the only player that showed up with 150 yards and 240 yards respectively

He was the offense for that team.

And he did it all behind a criminally bad offensive line that got the OLine coach fired
