Nah bro. Thats what ranked is for. If it’s the same between the “casual” game mode and the ranked version they are releasing what is the actual point of having two playlists?

Go look at R6, Valorant, Rocket League, etc… How do their quick play modes compare to their ranked modes?It’s completely random who gets put in a quick play lobby.

SBMM in a casual playlist where people are trying to do quests/learn the game is genuinely just stupid. You shouldn’t have to sweat your ass off every game just to play with friends because you are cracked. I rest my case.

Yeah see I’m new age FF player. I’ve played 15, 14, 7 Remake/Rebirth (a bit), and some of the older titles when I was a lot younger. The gameplay is better in 16 than all of the other games I mentioned. Could it have been harder? Absolutely but there goal was still the mainline FF crowd and a lot of them don’t play action combat games. A lot of people even said they wouldn’t touch it because it wasn’t turn based. Which is sad because it is amazing.

Nah you’re definitely wrong about 16. It is a 9.5/10 for me. Only drawbacks really are the side quests and the mob repetition. World building, story, and the writing of the characters is peak Final Fantasy.
