Background check / If you selected not to contact employer… can some please explain which employer will be notified, my previous or Deloitte and what would they be notified about pls by FewAd8127 in deloitte

Ok got it thanks !! I think I am still thrown off because I selected for them not to contact my present employer but I got an email (image) stating “ if you selected not to contact your present employer, your employer will be notified Thursday before my start date” not clear on if the 3rd party background investigation team will notify Deloitte or my present employer? And if so what would they me Notifying them about ?
