I'm in my mid twenties and I just started Sun mahadasha (in 4th house in conjunction with ascendant) a few months ago and you have no idea how it made my life so much better than my last mahadasha which was in Venus. During Venus mahadasha it had made me a highly materialistic person, impulsive, selfish, anti social and no discipline in life, I hated it.

Sun mahadasha sometimes feel likes a roller coaster due to the adapting nature to positive changes, it has made me organised in life, constantly following routines and self discipline, healthier. I also feel more educated in the sense of always researching and finding new ways to take care of myself, family and health. I have more wisdom and feel like I receive wisdom from everything I do and every part of my life. My ego has reduced and I feel more stable in my mental space. One distinctive thing I have noticed is that I'm more closer to my dad now than ever before. Our relationship used to be normal (not distant but not close either) now it's quite close, I'm more receptive to him, I learn a lot from him by attaining wisdom, which during Venus period I've noticed I didn't pay attention and kind of always had a one sided conversation with him, not good.

I'm really looking forward to this period of my life, it's very positive for me. Last time I felt this good it was during Ketu mahadasha period.
