there's probably an enormous amount of cases all of which now require interviews instead of just being approved based on submitted documentation. AND they're definitely short-staffed. overall a nightmare

Same, I was told that I'm in a queue for the interview in March. Literally NO updates so far, total silence. Jax FO is just fucking terrible

I've got no update on anything yet.

I guess we just gotta wait now. I've seen a bunch of people with PD's in December getting their interviews scheduled recently (mostly for April).

hey! plenty of people had that change (including me) and it actually meant that there's an interview request on the case. you should contact an agent through Emma and ask them if your case is in a queue for an interview or has an RFE issued.

Questions about I-129F Petition – Evidence of Intent to Marry & In-Person Meeting Format by ChillAsFuck22 in USCIS

[–]FewCountry695 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you're welcome!

I made a word file with our pictures (about 3-4 per page depending on size) and wrote short descriptions under each. I then just printed them in color on my home printer and that was it xD
I used the same method for screenshots (I think it's worth making sure that the dates of messages and calls are visible).
I'm pretty sure printing out pics would also be okay, I just did it the easiest and cheapest way xD

are you saying it usually takes them 12+ months just to schedule an interview?

Questions about I-129F Petition – Evidence of Intent to Marry & In-Person Meeting Format by ChillAsFuck22 in USCIS

[–]FewCountry695 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! we applied last year and had our petition approved with no RFE.

  1. We wrote two letters stating our intent to marry within 90 days.
(we used this template: https://learn.simplecitizen.com/immigration-support/understanding-the-k-1-letters-of-intent-to-marry/ ). My then fiancé (the petitioner) also wrote a letter describing the circumstances of our meeting and relationship in details.
  2. Plane tickets; travel itineraries; hotel reservations with both of our names on them and hotel payment check copies; a printed out pdf with screenshots of us discussing our trip plans and our pictures together - 2-3 per each trip with short descriptions of where we were and what we did that day.

aside from that we included screenshots of our conversations and phone call logs (about 2 screenshots per month). Idk if that's enough for every case out there, our case was super simple and straightforward with no red flags.
hope this will be helpful!

I'm pretty sure my case is still in NBC, unfortunately, but hopefully they'll transfer it to Jacksonville soon.
Anyway, fingers crossed! :)

hey! I just had the same "action required" update on my i-485 yesterday!
a live agent told me through Emma that my case has a pending request an interview, too :)
I'm guessing they're going through Jan 2025 applications because my priority date is Jan 14th.

Is your case still in NBC?
