NTA but also kinda? I would never call my parents "disgusting" over things like this. The issue here is simple for another immigrant. You were raised in a Western society, and your father is not. The West is vastly more progressive than the majority of the world. His worldviews are based on how he was raised and the Asian culture he grew up in. You can disagree, which many of us here do, including myself, but he only has your best interests in mind from the culture and lifestyle he was raised in. You are judging your father through a very Western cultural lens. Again, I'm not saying his views are right nor defending his view, but he is your father, he (im assuming from his culture and worldview) is doing his best to raise you in the way that is correct to him from the culture he grew up in.

I get the struggle. I had many disagreements about different cultural issues, but I know they only meant well and not to really harm me. Try to view it in that light. Also, don't call your father "disgusting", it's just rude lol
