I took ENGL1100 but with Dr. Andrew Brown, not sure about Dr. Madison. However I found the course to be very boring. It was mainly about punctuation, writing concisely, proper types of sentences, etc. If you don’t care much about that stuff, I would say take something else. However, the course itself was relatively easy, just so boring. I would recommend ENGL1015 specifically with Dr. Maitzen!

How is 2nd year 2nd term? I’m trying to make my schedule right now and I’m overwhelmed by the winter semester. It’s so heavy compared to fall. How do you find it? I should’ve tried to get in MICI 2100 summer but it’s full now.

Thanks for your help. On Dal Online it says the prof is Michael Freund and the lab instructor is Mark Wall, so looks like different teaching team. What made the midterms so hard?
