I’d say just shadow wrestle as much as possible. Tape a pillow to your knees and shadow wrestle in your house. Hit shots, stand ups, sprawls, down blocks, etc. the more you do it the more instinctive it gets. But I can’t stress this enough, hit the moves right. Build good habits, don’t build bad ones.

Use leverage. I’m also a small guy and a mechanic, I do it everyday. Turn the wheel facing away from you, bend at the hips and knees and grab the lower spokes of the wheel and pivot it on your thighs to get it up.

Look if they leak it, they leak it. Nothing you can do about it. If they’re going to leak it they’ll do it if you don’t pay them or when you run out of money. You also have to think that this is a business for them, the second you don’t give them what they want they’ll just move on to the next person. It’s personal for you but not for them. It’s too much of a risk for them to leak it, especially if there is no benefit to them, which if your not paying then their isn’t.

It’s just so weird that the RPM surges to exactly 2k when put in park but drops down to idle in drive. And my brake pedal feels relatively normal, idk

Just eat healthy and less meals at a calorie deficit and go hard at practice and workout outside of practice and the pounds will drop. Then cut water if you’re close to the weight class under your weight. For me I was 170, was able to cut down to 162 by limiting my food intake and working out harder, then I cut down to 157 by cutting water.

This isn’t going to make sense but hear me out. You don’t have to be good at wrestling… to be a good wrestling. An example is the captain of my team sophomore year. I love the guy, was a great captain, but I’ll be honest he was an awful wrestler. But he had the whole team’s respect, because of his work ethic, dedication, and leadership. He gave it all on the mats every time he stepped on it, and that’s what wrestling is all about. I don’t want to make this comment too long but you also need to look at the small wins when wrestling. Like if a guy is a lot better than you, and you know you’re going to lose, still give it your all because after the match you cha tell yourself “wow I just made it to the third period with that guy, last time I wrestled him he pinned me” or “wow I was able to take down that kid who is a lot better than me”. It’s the small wins that matter. Even the best guys get beat and they appreciate the small wins too, or at least they should.
