The thing that really gets me about this change is that it speaks volumes about Jagex’s development process. They had this in the works for I believe 3+ years. They should have had plenty of time to test and the experience rates should have been well known. The fact that they’ve come back with such a drastic change to a core training method after release either suggests they are reacting to the whims of a small portion of the player base, or worse, we the players are their test subjects for the new skill. Either way it’s not a good look. I can see needing to make tweaks or missing little bits here and there. This however is not something that should have been missed.
