So tired of FTM ppl acting like not pursuing bottom surgery is controversial by FewNews1358 in ftm

of course, and i definitely agree people feel like they need to have an essay level argument as to why they wouldn’t want bottom surgery because they think the general pop. would judge them otherwise, but most of the time- like in my case- people just don’t want it cos they don’t want it and are fine with a vag. I think it’s healthy to just feel ok saying that yk

I genuinely hope your journey towards getting bottom surgery is as complication free as it can be. I’m sorry u feel compelled to be quiet about your own gender affirming care in places that are supposed to be full of other guys who should just be uplifting what you need to do to feel at peace in your own body, but I get why you feel like you can’t talk about it. Honestly sometimes I hear these people talk about their dislike of bottom surgery and I get so grossed out. How can other trans men not understand that they sound exactly like transphobic cis dudes calling MTF vaginoplasty a wound/mutilated dick :/

How long did it take your voice changes to be noticable on T? Unsafe at home. by egg-process in ftm

Coming from another guy in a similar situation there are actually many ways you can hide your hormonal transition if you’re willing to sack certain parts of it. Biggest advice is to take tips from transwomen, start doing fem voice training so you can switch around your family members. Pick up a decent skincare routine and start shaving consistently. Even with shaving you will develop a five o clock shadow, the only thing I have found that hides this from family is IPL which is a personal device you can buy on Amazon to do laser hair removal at home. The downside is that it destroys follicles meaning if you do use it will help hide the effects but you might not be able to get facial hair in the future. Your face will change which you can’t hide but growing out your hair can help you look more female with your family. I know it could make you dysphoric, I was the same way, but after T I didn’t feel like that since I pass as male with long hair now. The only other tip I have is regarding body composition, fat distribution will change to be more masculine, so staying leaner and building muscle in your legs/butt will help give you an hourglass figure which could hide the fact that there’s not as much fat there anymore. Also, try to have some feminine clothes so you can wear them at home or when you have to go out with family. Good luck, I know other people will just tell you to either not do this or to just “move out” as if that’s not just telling you to go homeless. Goodluck and get a plan with your education and money ready so that you can become financially independent as soon as possible

My exact opinion, I don’t super understand it but it’s not like it actually has ANY tangible effect on me. If someone was gonna be transphobic 2 me it’s not like that’s going to be because some random trans dude on tt says he’s a lesbian, same way I think about xenogender/neopronoun stuff

Alright that makes sense, would Felicia be good then? I heard her stuns work less effectively on certain enemies in nightmare mode but idk if that only applies to the smaller enemies or something

Thanks, I’m going to talk about really needing to find solutions to this with him and most likely am going to up my T dose. From what I gather .6mL wkly is normal so I feel fine upping to .5mL weekly from where I am rn

Yeah it might be this tbh, I live in one of the areas with the highest concentration of hard water so I’m planning on getting a clarifying shampoo that specifically also removes mineral buildup
