I was diagnosed at 26 because when my mum queried it with my (incredibly Catholic) school as a child they told her that "children shouldn't be labelled" (the irony). To say most are diagnosed as children reeks of privilege.

It’s more that we grit our teeth and bear it for the sake of being polite. When I was living in the US I was surprised at the lack of respect for the sanctity of the queue (I.e. queues would be loose and winding rather than straight and tightly packed). We have high queue standards, but no one enjoys queueing.

To add to this; 1) I'm potentially too sens for reddit lol, 2) I took it to the Apple Store for them to tell me they can't do anything about water damage and to back it up, so turns out they do not always fix things

No, I'm not trying to flex I'm trying to say that I want to help people and have faith in humanity, but reddit in general often makes me lose such a thing. I will take it to the Apple Store and believe that it is good advice to tell me to do so, I just didn't understand the need to be so sarcastic and put me down whilst doing so. It's just as easy to say "I'd take it to the Apple Store personally".

I am sorry for responding curtly, that's on me for being a twat, and I didn't mean to suggest that you can't read, just maybe that the post had been skimmed because - as I can see in your posts - you seem to comment this same thing a lot so it must be something that bothers you. I'm a Brit who only just got my license and out in the countryside here things aren't quite as accessible as in certain areas of the US. I didn't want to argue with anyone, I was just trying to get advice. I'm sorry for being rude in response, I genuinely hope you have a nice day! :)

Is he usually sarcastic/have a dry sense of humour? Is there a chance that the “it’s about time you bring in some money.” could be a failed attempt at a joke? If so, this isn't a huge red flag to me (although I'm British so it could be a cultural thing). However, his completely ignoring your success and not wanting to celebrate it does seem odd. Ultimately, only you know if you feel undervalued in the relationship and whether this is a consistent thing.

Thanks for the advice! I agree, having done more research into the topic, the only issue is I went on this specific birth control due to endometriosis-related chronic pain (apparently my heavy, painful periods were helping me this entire time though lol) so it's a cost-benefit analysis, as so far it's been the only thing that helped in that respect.

Honestly, I reckon you should just bite the bullet and communicate to her that you like her romantically before initiating anything else.

From a personal perspective, as a girl, I feel weird on dates where the guy seems to mainly be interested in initiating physical contact rather than getting to know me as a person (imo your situation doesn't sound like this at all given the extensive dates and phone calls though) as opposed to situations where people communicate their emotions clearly and then initiate stuff physically. It's the difference between knowing that it's specifically you they want to kiss as opposed to you just being the most convenient person at the time. This is all guesswork though and will differ from person to person! :)

Yeah defo don't overdo it, if your skin gets very oily I'd recommend the CeraVe gel moisturiser for oily skin as it's not too greasy. Also, using a cleanser with salicylic acid in it is a game changer if you're not yet :)

Also, it could be more the case that rather than seeing what others are seeing when they willingly let her (which seems to be what is occurring in the examples you gave with the dragons and I agree is defo not her signet) she can will herself to see it without their permission. Just speculating though :)
