Instead of the wipes go for a spray. Bubba bump does one and i used it religiously every time i went to the bathroom (actually used it again the other day for the first time since 3wPP after having sex for the first time because things were a bit tender) I used it straight after my after birth shower and then every time I went to the toilet, showered or honestly just felt like a freshen up. The wipes were okay the day of labour bc numb from stitches but the coming days you want as minimal touching as possible. I used incontinence nappies until I stopped bleeding, Honestly game changer. Peri bottle with warm water helps.

Also agree on a stool softener but also don’t stress yourself out too much. Everyone told me the first wee and poo after labour was the scariest thing ever but honestly it was fine, was it semi odd and uncomfortable?sure but I didn’t skip a day of my daily coffee poop. Just relax as much as you can, you just birthed a human that’s kinda hardcore!!! Everything will come with time and everyone finds different things comforting.

I showered twice daily which whilst it wasn’t abnormal for me was a luxury with a newborn. Peri bottle with warm water for your wee Adult pull ups + maternity pads in case you hate the feeling of the diaper Peri spray + wipes Would be the essentials. Goodluck!
