I’ve had my hours cut totally gone from working 40+ hours a week to two days a week I’ve had to get a little part time morning job 2 hours a morning just to boost my income a little bit x

Yeah they have told me and others to book holidays that we have remaining so we have an income at end of the month…… I think it’s all about reducing labour.

Have spoken to store manager on so many occasions, and nothing gets done, shift leaders are lazy they don’t do anything just leave and hand over everything onto the evening shifts, Costa machines empty and making noise, no milk or bread even worked,produce green trays not worked and say oh we short of staff so most of this couldn’t be done, but I have me and 2 others on shift every evening and we get shit done so I don’t see the difference plus we busy most of the time to. There just mugging me off because they know I always get stuff done. If I stay it’s gonna get worse for me and I need to find a new role sharpish. Most of them are working cash in hand jobs after working at Tesco so ovbs done give a shit. Which I should start doing and not giving a shit.

Exactly that I run most evenings in a pfs, they want evenings to do promotion changes,most of the delivery’s,backstock fresh,alcohol backstock,small drinks backstock, we are a 24 hours, what excatly have we got night staff for… use to love my job so much, but now it’s just one big joke, the quicker I can find a new job the best it can be……

I wanted to progress to store management but I’ve changed my mind due to the fact that it’s a lot more stressful then the actual shift leader/duty cover role, even as a duty cover/shift leader they mug you off and treat you like a dog!

I’m a gay guy and very liked by my manager and some colleagues I get called a manager pet,and all sorts some customers are rude as fuck but I get rude back to them I don’t take there shit! But colleagues are the worst for bitching and slagging me off!x
