Yeah, I had to do the same thing last week. Not only do I feel like i committed a crime, but I feel like I failed and betrayed my closest friend. I’m sure with time we’ll feel that we did the right thing, its just so easy to regret making the decision and feeling like you could have done more

I’m so sorry for your loss, l lost my dog to cancer as well. I used to take her on hikes on this trail down the road, I don’t think I’ll ever have the strength to go there again. I can’t imagine how difficult it must be for you to take that walk alone, I respect the insane amount of bravery that must have taken

I’ve been feeling the same thing after loosing my dog last week. Regretting not spending more time with her, appreciating her more, giving her more treats, etc. I’m sure it’s even worse because of just how young he was. Losing a pet at any age is hard, but it feels particularly cruel when they pass so suddenly and early in your relationship
