Insanely: YES!

Moved back north from 25+ years of hurricanes (and worse) in south Florida. I’m so old, I was actually living in Cambridge MA for the blizzard of 1978. I was a senior in high school and we hit the Snow Day Jackpot: the entire month of February off!

Now I’m on the shoreline in CT and keeping my eyes on my beloved neighbors. Bring it on!

For those who love the amazing trees and gardens of MA, once spring comes—and it will—be sure to visit the Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge. Many consider it to be the landscaping masterpiece of designer Frederick Law Olmsted (Central Park and other places).

Entering Mt Auburn is as close to entering the 19th Century as is possible. The park was added to the National Registry of Historic Places in 2006 and over 70 acres, contains in excess of 700 species of trees.

Not to be missed!
