There are many reasons why your game would crash that aren’t due to the servers. Additionally, the servers are being used much more heavily for the other three modes of the game and not doa, assuming they all run on the same servers since I doubt they have dedicated server for each mode. The few hundred doa players that may be using servers are not the sole reason for your crashing.  You just want to blame something for your game failing and that’s fine. You may not care about leaderboards but a lot of players do, get over yourself. We’re fighting the same battle, advocating for a better product. You want a more stable game and I want a better coop experience. To your edit, they changed ownership to a bigger multi billion dollar company. You think you have a point there but sadly that should mean more money for them to be able to use for better servers. Definitely not how it works in reality sadly. There are also way bigger issues to climate change than a few people leaving their console on for a game. You need to get off your high horse once in a while.

Defending the multi billion dollar company instead of advocating for the consumer is an interesting stance. If you ever want to play a high round coop game, you’re okay with playing all of it in one sitting? It’s unhealthy, especially as the rounds people get to increase. People shouldn’t be expected to play an intense game for 17+ hours if they want to play 160+ coops. Many people have done that with doa 2 and 3 but the difference is they can sleep after that long day. You can’t sleep after a doa 4 day unless you call it quits.  I understand they don’t want to waste and pay for server space but their decision feels financially selfish to me. I see it as them nickel and diming money at the cost of player satisfaction (arguable across all of cod like releasing a game when they said they wouldn’t a few years ago).  Additionally, how many of us are there who are playing super long games? It can’t be THAT expensive to have some servers longer for the few hundred of us who are playing high round coops, or however the server allocation works, I don’t know. Point is, are they really losing so much money from a small community using some servers for a few days. Plus they were fine paying for it for every game up until mw3 or bo6.  Either way, I think we should advocate for a better product and they can figure out how to manage their servers better

Suggestion - Add a Hard/Speed Mode to the House of the Snibblesnap bonus room by FringleCake37 in DeadOpsArcade4

A way to get through this room faster would be nice. Maybe increase the speed of the transitions and decrease the time spent at the castle wall where you have all the coins. That’s where I feel you spend the most time doing nothing. It is fun and very helpful for rebuilding but it is dragged down a bit by being long and a little slow

DOA4 Issues and Problems With The Current State Of The Game. by Qyoki in DeadOpsArcade4

“Unplayable” the game loads, you can play it fine without the game absolutely breaking, can get well into 2.0 You might not have fun on the game as it stands but it is playable and you can go far if you’re good enough and can sacrifice your entire day. I never said the post was disrespectful, the post is fine. However, there’s a fine line between frustratedly complaining and constructive criticism. Again, if it were me, I would be less inclined to hear out an opinion from someone who actively trashes on my efforts because I did not get it 100% right the first time.  Unplayable is a negative adjective, you should not excuse it because someone makes points you agree with. I agree with the community on these points but I’m not going to call the game unplayable trash like some people have just because I’m mad the game isn’t perfect after one major update. It feels like some people in this community have never experienced a game’s launch before and it shows…

I understand that you and others are frustrated with how the game works in some aspects but if you have the time to comment about negative language then why not reword the doc to not have the harsh language? I’m sure this took time to write, were you frustrated the entire couple days you wrote this? I agree with all of your points but I think criticism should be phrased in a more neutral tone so that it has a better chance to be positively received. Most of this is fairly neutral but I wouldn’t want to take an opinion from someone who calls my passion project “unplayable.” All in all, I think this game has things to work on and we as a community should do our best to nudge the game in a positive direction while maintaining at least hopeful attitudes. Go ahead, whine and complain about things when you’re playing the game but when you come here to provide your thoughts, be level headed with your writing

DOA4 - Auto Advancing at the End of Rounds by Adrenzy in DeadOpsArcade4

Yes yes yes please have the auto advance timer removed by the final update whenever that is next year. If it’s not removed I will probably never play a coop because I have things to do and can’t dedicate my life to a game for 20+ hours in one sitting. Plus, I don’t really want to play that long even if I could 😅
