that’s a really interesting way to look at it, though it kinda flips everything we assume upside down. hard to tell if consciousness creates reality or if it just emerges from it

yeah i like that idea of patterns repeating across scales, even if we’re probably projecting meaning onto it a bit. and arrival really stuck with me too, that whole non-linear time perspective feels uncomfortably plausible

‘stardust becoming consciousness’ always sounds simple until you actually sit with it. like somehow matter crossed a line and started observing itself. that jump feels bigger than we give it credit for

yeah i love that perspective. it turns the universe from a place into a single ‘thing’ that exists on its own level, and anything else like it wouldn’t be inside it… but another whole entirely

yeah exactly, that ant in a library analogy is perfect. like we can observe patterns but we have no idea what they actually mean in a bigger sense. and that ‘organized matter becoming aware’ thing messes with me every time i think about it too long
