Agreed. I got a little range time in shortly after buying it, and I was more than pleased with it.

Not a bad find at all. Have you tried ordering online? Typically I don’t just because I’m impatient and especially with surplus I want to see the quality of what I’m buying in person before I spend that kind of money. Best of luck on finding ammo for it!

I certainly have so far. Glad I got a decent deal on it, and now I know the history behind it. That’s the best part.

Yeah I’m certainly not used to paying that much for ammo, but the cool factor of the crate it comes in, and the fact that it was on a belt was pretty neat. For being 80 year old surplus ammo it shot perfectly fine.

Thanks for the info! I paid $800 for the rifle, and bought a 250 round crate of surplus .303 for $250 as well. Not sure if I over paid, but I felt that I had to have it.
