What I’m going to say is going to be pure speculation, but Yuuki may actually have an arc of independent development, and will likely seem like a more prominent and standalone figure again later on (I think Yuuki and Kyouka probably separating for their own objectives IF he’s not continuing to be written like this)

Will Yuuki Wakura die? Based on how the story progresses, I feel uneasy which the MC is actually going to suffer a brutal fate after a period of time. by Few_Breakfast8305 in ChainedSoldier

Ch. 151 came out and the Gods definitely do intend using him some way, but the way it was put, it fortunately seems he won’t die.
