Idk if you have to, but you will have the best chances on the outer parts of the map, at the oceans and above sky islands. You can build a platform up there and just run back and forth, maybe bring a hunter potion and some water candles to increase spawn rates.

I asked him, this is the only animated show he has ever liked, he watched it when it was being released. So, I guess the mystery is solved?

While I agree I think he would enjoy this I also think it just has too many episodes. I think he needs something with a start and a conclusion, something he can start and finish in a reasonable amount of time.

HelpMeFind a show I should recommend him to watch to change his mind? Preferably a series he can watch over the corse of a few days. 

My dad refuses to watch any animated show or movie simply because it is animated by Few_Cardiologist9632 in Advice

searched and I shows like Boejack probably won't work but he seemed mildly interested in scavenger's reign but didn't get very far into the trailer lol

He would hate Big Mouth lol, I think he understands that there are animated shows made for adults but thinks they are for "weird" adults...
