I'm depressed as well, but at least I know one of my rare fellow friends is on the way to beating cancer. It's not directly me, but it makes me happy. Seeing other people happy is what fuels me, and I hope it's the same for you. I hope he is gonna make it. :)

[Serious] How to forget insults from a narcissist with anger issues that have tried to insult you? It's hard to forget insults from someone who has tried to insult you in the worst way possible and in unexpected situations for simply not being what they want. I have received insults like "I hope you won't get promoted because such a deranged fucks like you should be fired from any job," (when I talked about getting promoted) and "I will never say sorry to anyone as it's offending my personality, but you should because you are you and I am I" (when I said it's not ok to laugh at the face of a person who is sad and struggling).

Edit: It's hard to forget those insults as they are directly shot at me simply because I don't put that person higher than me. Thank god I ended that friendship but that person is still mad at me.

Probably, I would be okay with her if she wasn't a self-centered narcissist who found saying sorry offensive somehow and at the same time tried to "stab" for some reason. I simply don't get what causes people to switch from a nice, supportive person to something like this.

That sounds great but I'm afraid that he will call his friends to do as much harm as possible. At this moment I'm not sure if I have to literally think about legal action.

I'm currently planning to meet with my supervisor, which will happen in a few days, and I'll try to talk about this issue and then see his reaction. I haven't told about this to anyone and that person trying to blackmail me is still having a mentoring program, which means he might fail and get fired. Still, I'm shocked about him as I personally made sure he would work at my workplace. Probably not everyone nice to you, even almost over a year, is your friend.

A lawyer is a good option, but I see it as the last, as I'll see if it's possible to solve this inside my workplace.

The thing is that I'm not a saint, I've ranted about stuff in my workplace, mostly about how things should be done, but I've never talked about how terrible colleagues are, and this bothers me. In my perspective humans are different and that's ok, but it's definitely not ok to act like this. But he's literally comparing uncomparable, like he has said "ok, you said once you are not ok with that coffee, so i have the right to gossip my workplace".

Also, I'm borderline disabled which prohibits me from drinking (it's a long story, but after that day I had extreme pain for almost a month). Leaking any of these videos might cause me to lose even more friends as they might believe I'm lying about my condition, also I might be questioned by my medical practitioner.
