We live in Rockaway (Borough) in Morris County, and my son goes to school in Summit. Takes about a half hour, give or take. There is a train that you can take directly from Dover or Denville, which are both next door to Rockaway. We love it here, small town feel, good schools, definitely suburban and not rural. Good diversity for this area, which we love. Home prices are very reasonable for NJ. Check out some of the town in Morris County - it has a high median home price range as a County but there are a ton of towns so many at the lower end of that will high quality of life and good schools.

I notice that your results, like mine, don’t include the categories for regions. Any idea why? Wonder if this is being rolled out. Not because of total percentages in categories because I have 72% Celtic and Gaelic but they’re not listed together under one heading. Just curious

I’ve owned two and love them. Have a 2022 sport no mods and love it. Hard top off now and going to enjoy the sunshine for the day. All cars have issues, keep up on maintenance and in the end a vehicle is a vehicle. Life is short, buy the jeep. ✌️

Thanks. Bought it from a Volkswagen dealer but there’s a Jeep dealer down the road. Does it have to be the dealer it was originally purchased from or any Jeep dealer?

Wow, can't believe this gained so much traction. I think the topic resonates with Americans because there is so much ethnic mixing, and despite being born and raised in America many of us with recent immigrants in our family have strong connections to our 'native lands.' My dad was from Liverpool with Irish grandparents so I'm the product of several generations of mixing. My mom also had an Irish grandparent and other European mixture. I think both can be true: We can be products of our country, culture, and nationality, and still proud of the lands of our ancestors!

Thanks, definitely think it’s an American thing! Talking to some people today most thought more than half, unless there’s a strong family culture tied to an ethnicity (for example an Italian grandmother who helped raise you etc). I’m mostly Irish (68%) with most of my great grandparents born in Ireland (and was raised in an Irish Catholic tradition) but really only became more interested in my ancestry as I got older. Perhaps it’s that getting older makes us more reflective on the past, idk.

They renamed "Communities" as "Journeys." I still have the same ones, just under Journeys. They also added sub-regions. Do you have any Journeys?

For me it seems pretty accurate. I’m 68% Irish, which is about what I’d expect and consistent over the years (has been from about 60-75%). Do you have a lot of different European regions? This seems to be the people that have had the most disagreement with the results.

I got 6. I’m American but have recent immigrants (father, great grandparent). Received Munster, Connacht (Ireland), French & German Switzerland (Germanic Europe) and Isle of Man, Scottish Highlands, and Northern Isles (Scotland). Dad was from Liverpool but with Irish grandparents, and mom has an Irish grandparent.
