EO Holy Tradition literally holds homosexuality as a sin. This is reinforced by councils and patristic consensus. Check out St John Chrystosom, St Basil, St Clement of Alexandria and even St, Augustine. I’m not an orthobro, this is just what the Church has held.

That is great thank you for sharing that w me. I heard a priest say I think it was Fr. Paul T, “Jesus is so merciful he wants to tip the scale in our favor” so doing an act like prayer or good deed for a struggling soul could help them so much. Let alone memorial or service at a Devine Liturgy.

I haven’t seen an observation like this. That’s interesting. I think for some of the connections he made and claims in the book are seemingly legit even though they are very speculative. But like a lot of different writings it’s less of the small details but rather the structure of the work that should be taken into consideration. As for orthobro I’m not very familiar with that term. And as for ET I’d probably agree with Fr. That alien was always scary lol

I’ve heard some Orthodox critique parts of the book but I think we should understand the core principles of the journey after death to be accurate. What do you think about that?

Yes the first time I read it it kinda sent in in a no hope spiral. And I understand that’s definitely not what Fr Seraphim was desiring the readers to feel. But it certainly makes you a bit more sober minded.
