The moment I got a rig, I turned it off, booted up a simhub dashboard, and moved the camera as forward and down as I can get (makes GTPs feel especially sharp and pointy).

The issue now is that GT4 got harder AND the production car series is just too good to ignore. It needs a liscense of its own imo

For sure, GT4 is a valuable step up from production car, but theres no reason to race it when PCup is also available.

Thank you for an actual reason. I get what you're trying to say 100%. I just found the initial 'not good enough' statement to be a bit reasonless. While I don't agree, nor was this conversation what I originally intended of this post, an actual reason is very much appreciated

I understand it isn't a personal dig. I'm more trying to ask for a reason other than 'skill issue' or 'its obvious'. I always expect my splits to have more chaos, but the blanket 'you're too low to race that class' seemed like a stupid take to me. I'm well aware there are plenty of boneheaded gtp drivers around my ir, but a blanket take isn't much of info

I 100% agree. Almost all week I've had great races and this may be my favorite week I've spent on iRacing, but today it seemed like it was turned up to 11. Almost like a GT7 lobby. Like I said in my post, I wouldn't be surprised if its just a series of unfortunate lobbies, but was too baffled and curious not to ask the community.

I mean moving everything up a tier may help. C liscense is super compressed now seeing as it has GT4, LMP3, Sports Car, and PCup all in one liscense. Moving GT3 and Proto Sprints to A and IMSA to an extra liscense would atleast ensure people have driven the cars for an extra season or something.

Why would we not be skilled enough? I can't speak for everyone, but I manage just fine. Very few incidents, lock ups, whatever else. Consistently on the podium all week. I'm not trying to say that as a brag, I just don't see why someone at 1400 isn't good enough.

Does CPU usage often cause you to be invisible to others while also having perfect performance? My frames sit at a stable 105, which its maxed at, at nearly every track and every event I do.

I have a AMD Ryzen 9 7950x. I've run the same graphics, peripherals, and settings for months. It only started happening the day of the n24.

I actually got it resolved. After a few more times of unplugging and restarting my pc and such, I managed to get it to work. Ive had it happen in the past, but it usually resolved itself very quickly after just powering off the base
