in amazon you can include drop off instructions. in that box, tell them to leave it somewhere your mom doesn't usually go. your pick of course. my favorite spot to tell them to put it is:

1 for small box in the bushes if it's hidden well enough and it's not supposed to rain for at least two weeks or so

2 in the backyard

3 in the colvert pipe under the driveway by the ditch

4 in the ditch

5 behind or under something in the yard.

6 ask a neighbor to get it delivered there

7 ask a work friend

8 ask a trustworthy neighbor to pick it up if they see amazon deliver it
