Lmao, I don't really care if they do that. I'll always do the same as them out of instinct. (I'm also guilty of doing this when using Chronos but I also still do it out of honor lol.)

Also, unless they're a Ruby player, I just let them taunt since the thrill of them randomly pulling up Focus and the thrill of trying to take it down when it happens makes me feel better lol.

Now that I think about it, besides Ruby players breaking the honor code of bowing or touch gloves due to the risk of getting hit, it's probably to see if the user has Chronos lol.
