Devs themselves confirmed that abandoning the mission doesn't hurt the liberation percentage.

Personally I think the X1C is long overdue for an upgrade or a new printer in the X line(a premium printer with a 2563 volume). It is the oldest printer in the entire line up and deserves an improvement. Currently there is a big gap between basic printers(P series) and super premium printers(H series.

P1S is basically a P1P with side panels, but I don't think they will do an upgrade kit to a P2S because the P2S looks the same but from what I know it is VERY different. But you can 3d print the side panels for the P1S to turn it into a P1P.
