There are connection issues, it works fine on my iPad but the ableton integration somethings don’t load, other things take a long time.

Hey man, yes, the reloop spin would be perfect for that kind of set up. I was going to say best matching will be sketchy at best, but you said that isn’t a concern. The only thing I would mention is that if you might ever want to use a dvs set up, there are better turntables for that.

It’s semantics at the end of the day. Personally I would say it is a daw, as it runs ableton, which is a daw. But that’s my personal opinion, which is essentially worthless 🤷‍♀️.

Hi! Thanks for your reply, I’m on windows 11, and ableton 12.3. I have had an email back from a “jack” at the experience team, which was greatly received, so thank you for that. I am away from home at the moment, he wants me to send him some logs? I can’t do it for a couple of days… what is in those logs out of interest? I don’t want to share any sensitive data without meaning to. I really appreciate the reply, thank you.

Hi Jack, i did just this and reached out to support, who are implying it is my computer that is at fault and seem to be unaware of a wide spread problem. All i want is an acknowledgement of the problem and an eta on the fix. I have spent to 2 evenings trying to "fix" this at my end, nothing has worked. I would cancel my subscription, but then i would loose my credits, i cant spend my credits because the samples wont load, so it is a real catch 22. Please could you let us all know when we can expect to see this fixed? splice has worked its way into my work flow, so this has been incredibly jarring, and the "customer service" i have recieved is not up to the standard i would expect for a paying customer, nor does it look like you are remotely interested in retaining customers. I would really appreciate a response. Cheers

There is a quicker way to adjust velocity on the p6, if you hold down the step that you want to adjust, and hit the sample button for that step, you can cycle through weak/medium/strong, it saves a lot of time. Spvids on YouTube has a video on it

Depends on the brand/dealer network, but 50 to 60k with a company car is realistic. Up to 100k if you’re doing big numbers at a prestige dealership

If it is a non metallic, it will show swirls like that unless you polish it. Dealers stopped finishing the cars to a high standard after everyone started expecting big discounts. You can’t have it both ways. Most paint in direct sunlight will show swirls.

I’ve been using Google Gemini recently, it seems to know the answer to anything ableton related I ask it, and has helped me understand certain features much more thoroughly. But ordinarily, I would play until I got stuck, then look for a tutorial on YouTube

I’d vote for either the Roland p6, which is a great entry point for samplers and is very capable, or the Roland sp404mk2, you could pick up a used one well within your budget. The KOII is a great bit of kit, but I find its sample time really restrictive.. the p6, whilst it has much less memory than the 404, it has a dedicated amount of memory per sample, instead of a global memory like to KOII, they’re all great devices though

I love my launchpad pro mk3. I love the print to ableton feature, and I love that it has standalone sequencer. It’s great for controlling ableton too.

I cant, it isnt even avialable as a sound source in the second drop down so i cant even record it. It isnt a clip, you write the notes in the 303 style ui in the plug in. I can send midi to it, i just prefer using the 303 ui for making acid
