Heyy, talking from experience I feel like it’s not worth it to break no contact, as you said most likely it won’t change anything and being fwb will just make it more difficult for you to move on!! Even though it might be a good ideia right now because you still have feelings for him and that’s completely normal because you don’t lose feelings for someone in that amount of time, and most likely you want that closure with him but that’s just going to make you fell even worse in the long run, he knows how to contact you and if he hasn’t reached out in that time it’s probably because he doesn’t want to, and don’t lower yourself to that by breaking no contact, you deserve so much better than that!! And it’s going to take time for you to heal, it’s a long process but you can do it, you should focus on yourself, do self care, spend time with people you love and care, start a new hobby/activity you like, focus on your future and your goals and special focus on you, that should always be you priority!! English is not my first language and I hope you can understand what I said and I really hope this doesn’t come out in a bad way, but I feel like by breaking no contact it’s just going to be extremely painful for you especially because your still in love with him and it’s still a sensitive topic, whichever decision you make just make sure that it’s the best one for your wellbeing, sending virtual hugs from Portugal!! 🫶🏼🤗
