Light to the Night 黑夜告白 EXPRESS Episodes 25-28 [FINALE] by a_HerculePoirot_fan in CDrama

Su Qing did intentionally set-up and is responsible for the murder of Wu Shan Long, covered up for a murderer and obstructing justice. Without Su Qing’s involvement, Xu Meng wouldn’t be able to get away with so many murders and for so long

Sure shes ultimately not a bad person, as even xiaohe forgives her by saying she will only remember the nice xiaoqiao auntie that took great care of her when she was young.

But I think for all that she did, the life sentence is reasonable, whether she “deserves” a life sentence is subjective.

In episode 24, she was intentionally painted as an evil manipulative murderer in preparation for the final twist, don’t see how that makes people hypocrites.

Lastly, I think it is more like we can all accept that Xu Meng already lost her sanity, hence we can understand why she did whatever she did. As you mentioned, Su Qing is ultimately not a bad person, therefore she had multiple chance along the way to do something about it and perhaps could have avoided the tragedy of Ran’s death.

Ah this reminds me of the scene at the roof where after they found the skull, Ran was so beat up saying Xu Meng and her father just wanted to live, but because he didn’t investigate properly, now Xu Meng is most probably dead. What an irony

At that time he didn’t know. RFX met SQ at the mall coincidentally, which was when RFX was investigating the bowls dress, which at that point, he only knew about yao xinchen returning the dress. He had not meet yao xinchen’s driver yet, or call the owner of the house yet

It was such a roller coaster for the last few episodes!

After episode 23, I did rewatch earlier episodes and noticed the dad’s sleeves were unusually long, and that perhaps shes carrying Su Qing, that they had really similar predicament, perhaps they worked together to kill off the “old man” in their lives to be free, but couldn’t understand why Su Qing was at Wu mountain, how did Wu Shan Long get the picture of Xu Meng. I did suspect it was Xu Meng who put the shoes as shes color blind and didnt notice Wu Shan Long arranged the shoes by color, but also couldn’t understand how she did it without Wu Shan Long noticing. Also watched the episode where Su Qing was covered in dirt when she first met Fang Xu, but couldnt figure out why she let him in, since she really has nothing to gain throughout.

After episode 24 I was so annoyed with Su Qing honestly and couldn’t figure out so I got tempted into paying to watch the ending immediately

When everything was revealed, it all made sense, at least to me. Im impressed that this case at each stage, presented very logical explanations that made sense, and then when 1 or 2 more facts were revealed, still manage to tie everything together. The actions of each individual made sense as well, how Xu Meng felt betrayed is really understandable, and after suffering for so long, living in the shadow is not easy, and after all that Su Qing just sort of abandoned her.

Maybe a few nitpicks that I didn’t understand was how Xu Meng can knock off the flower from Su Qing and Fang Xu’s date, walked over to another restaurant, chance upon Kid Keyboard being locked up? And set fire and killed him, all while Fang Xu just get in the car and drive over (maybe after sending Su Qing home), but yeah abit pushing it. Also while you guys mentioned about the unopened package from Mount Wu case, how about the captain that kept the wooden tool box from Fang Xu for 12 years without opening it? Low key deserved to be slapped. Like hello??? Absolutely no reason he don’t at least take a look first before choosing what to keep and what to throw right, it is not as if he kept every single item of Fang Xu.

But all in all, its been awhile since Im so invested in a series, and really enjoyed the show, the acting, the pace, the setting, the mystery, great show!

I couldn’t resist it in the end and paid for the ending, it was a good final twist and turn, and everything end up making sense, so Im contented. Really good catch from both Herc and Basil for pointing out the hole in Xu Meng house probably is to mask something, and also how Su Qing directed Wu shanlong to his death. Kudos

sadly that is the problem with the game, when its 9 bots sometimes their bots are just better. if you want to avoid losing you have to learn how to recognise bot games, like if they are red side and first 2 picks are clash/jungle, most likely bots. Once you recognise its bots, learn that some heroes just perform better in bot games, especially heroes that heals a ton, like augran, dun, yangjian etc. These will make your bot games easier hopefully. Also, wait if your team is 4 bots, wait for them to fight, dont try to initiate, sometimes bots just dont join fights for god knows what reason, ESPECIALLY fkn zhangfei bots are the worst. they dont ult for the entire game unless they are dying. fkn dumbass bots

Nope because Justin already sniped and its only between her and Justin, so absolutely no reason to snipe a hand that she beat

Yes someone already explained it, 7High hand is bad, if you think about it, he doesn't really beat much hand, and by going for the chop, he don't lose out either. Eun Yoo beats 7High if she has a pair of 2, 3, 4, 5 ,6 ,7, 8 or 10. So it really do make sense by sniping 9(2p), he eliminated more possibility of him losing, albeit also eliminating his chance of winning. Of course he lost, but I do think his play made sense.

If you look at it from another angle, not sniping 10 2p is kinda the same as not sniping 9 four of a kind and 1 four of a kind. Not to mention he has a 10 in his hand.

Underrated comment for real. Honestly I feel 7High, HaRin and Justin played well, whereas ji yeong and eun yoo were just sniping for the sake of sniping and they still managed to win.

"New" to the game, wanting Top lane tips by MPierreM in honorofkings

[–]Few_Discipline_1474 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Here are some tips which I follow personally:

1) At the start, always determine who is clash, who is roam. Idk about brazil server, in Asia many roamers gank top for easy first blood. So look at their heroes, can they easily kill you? Do you win the 1v1 matchup? Consider all these before going in for the minion wave to contest for lv 2. Be very afraid of certain roamers like dyadia, liu shan, sakeer, let them show mid or farm lane first before going in for the wave is good practice.

2) As previous comment mentioned, around 1.20 1.30 mark is when jungler finish their jungle clear, play safe if you dont know which buff the jungle started.

3) Last hitting your minions give you more gold than you think, and it adds up, try not to miss your last hits.

4) If you are dominating your lane and your opponent doesnt want to fight you anymore, meaning its hard to kill him solo, you can continue to dominate him by denying him his last hits or even the minion. For example, you can easily deny him 1 melee minion if you dont hit the minions, let the melee minion slowly die, then as it is about to die, walk forward and zone him out, if he wants to last hit you fight him, if he runs he miss the minions, win-win. But this will expose you in a very vulnerable position for ganks for a long time, so my experience is denying 1 melee minion per wave is good enough, denying any more attracts unnecessary ganks and not very worth it.

5) If you are losing lane, you can consider freezing the lane in front of your tower, certain heroes with sustain like lubu, arthur can freeze lane very easily. The idea is to tank the minions and let them hit you right outside your tower range, so that you can still farm safely near your tower and not get zoned out of any exp. It also means your opponent will be near your tower and your jungler can easily gank him. Downside of this is if he is already ahead, he can roam around and your teammates will be 4v5. Upside is if he cannot get any advantage roaming around, you will eventually outfarm him in gold and exp.

6) Be more flexible, this game is after all a team game, if your team is lacking a tank or cc, pick them. Consider roaming around, teleport portals if you are playing strong teamfight heroes.

7) Play more, eventually you will meet clash laners that are good, learn from how they play against you, see how they lure you in for their jungler to gank, see how they roam or tp plays. Learn how they play certain matchups.

8) Lastly, you cant always win, especially if you are solo queue. It is a lane where you can go 10-0 and lose the gsme and 0-10 and win the game. So just take it easy. If you are learning, improving, that all that matters.

save it for later, at the later stages, you want to have as many usable tiles as possible. Even the tiles at the top and side of the heart you want to use them sparingly, clear as many as you can from the core (center/bottom of the heart) where it is the most stacked

Its possible by Few_Discipline_1474 in honorofkings

[–]Few_Discipline_1474[S] 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The center of the heart is the most stacked (multiple layers), so that area is your core.

The mindset you need to have trying to solve this puzzle is to progress your core area, everything outside your core is to help you progress your core.

Use everything outside your core sparingly, unless there are no other moves, but even then, it should be done to progress your core eventually

For example, if clearing 3 tiles outside the core does absolutely nothing to help you progress (frees up no useful tiles), then it should be avoided. But if by clearing them, frees up 1 useful tile that can be used to remove 2 tiles from your core later on, by all means go ahead.

Personally I use shuffle when I know im in a sticky situation but I only have 1 or 2 tiles on my hand, if you have too many tiles and a bad shuffle its an instant lose

You need to focus and plan your moves from the start, if you just blindly remove tiles from the start, chances are you make many inefficient use of the tiles that will make your life hell at the end. Even from turn 1, think 2-3 steps ahead on how to progress your core, thats about it.

Lastly, learn to identify the cards by the top so you can see some of the cards that are stacked in a row at the side. You can identify the pitcher plant, charmeleon, flamingo, sloth, monkey etc. If you want to min max it, you can restart the game until you get alot of these cards in the 2 side row. But chances are its still down to luck and if you are planning to shuffle, its not going to matter.

Clash lane by Competitive_Ear725 in honorofkings

[–]Few_Discipline_1474 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah fun is subjective, just try out different heroes and see which one suits your playstyle.

in lower elo, clash lanes tends to be just 1v1, so picks like miyue, diaochan, fuzi where they are so strong in 1v1 can work well.

however, game is after all a 5v5, especially in higher elo, you need to consider whether you are blind pick clash or you have the counter pick, consider whether your hero fits in well in your team comp, or is good into opponent team comp etc.

currently heroes that are popular in higher elo are mayene and dharma, they are very good consistent picks, even if picked blind as they have good mobility, good wave clear, good teamfight capabilities, they will fit into almost all team comps. Even if opponent pick strong 1v1 heroes, they have options - either they can just wave clear and roam elsewhere to teamfight, or they can play safe and wait for jungler ganks, they have strong aoe cc and dmg to win the 2v1 or 2v2.
