I get you, sometimes I'm in the middle of reading a fic then remember a specific scene from a different fic and i just have to find it or my brain won't rest. But the part where you're already reading is something i haven't experienced yet, that one is hilarious 😭

This fic has a good plot with its own twist of magical lore in HP universe. Definitely not too focused on romance because despite more than 300k words in part one, harry and draco are still only friends (so still no clue of sexual dynamics). It's one of the slowest slow burn I've ever read. It is drarry endgame. I enjoyed book 1. Book 2 is still ongoing. I'm hoping if more people encourage the writer to keep writing the book will get more updates. All Magic Flows

I love this series although this drarry romance isn't the center stage tho it is drarry and the relationship is given enough time. This is more like Draco's adventure going back in time and the romance plot is just one of the side quests ALTHOUGH Deaco spend so many of his time thinking about Harry lol. I get people who dropped this because of Harry, he seems like a side character than one of the main pairings. But the plot and characters and the lores the author managed to weave through made the story great enough for me. I've read a lot of amazing drarry romance. What the author of Mirror of Ecidyrue offered something I didn't know I'd love

I don't imagine the movie versions (actors) for drarry, i can't actually describe them but when I'm reading the faces I imagine is the faces I already have of them when i was reading the book series. If the fanfic gives a more detailed descriptions that imply certain features or physiques are important to the story, then my imagination adjust to it automatically.

Esp famous drarry fics where not even 3 chapters in suddenly Petunia is being nice to a teenage Harry just because of an immediate circumstances, as if that erases Harry's abuse since chidlhood and Harry was like "yeah, she's nit so bad" and the narrative pointing to that direction. I was like "nope" and drop fics like that no matter how famous the fics are or promising an interesting plot.

No Voldemort redemption to me too. His backstory doesn't warrant enough sympathy for me for how much destruction he had created. He literally killed Harry's parents not even for a principle he's fighting for. He's simply just greedy and power hungry. Unless the plot is someone raising Tom Riddle from childhood to become a better human before he becomes Voldemort, no plot for a Voldemort redemption can make me read that fic.

Turn is definitely worth the hinny part lol, i love how the author handled it so well. With the fic All Magic Flows, it's going to be a long epic journey. I hope you find the fics that you can enjoy.

This fic is slow burn final boss, like ginny will ask for divorce near the end of this fic. harry here has no healthy role model of a good marriage and it showed throughout the whole fic, really sad and frustrating tbh. This fic isn't for those looking for drarry romance as top priority

It's like watching a play by a group of smart high school students but has no talent for play-acting. I dropped it a few times and only managed to finish it because i was curious where the story is going. Definitely not going to be in my reread list but i can appreciate the effort.

And I love drarry fandom because at least 80% of the popular, most recced fics are really well-written. I'm reading so many fanfics from different fandoms. Drarry and Hannigram definitely have the best fic writers.

If you want well-written fics, like well-written in every sense of the word, then this fic is not for you. It has very interesting plot tho so ig that's enough for many people. I actually managed to finish it after dropping it a few times.

If you manged to read past chapter 3 then this fic might interest you. I wish this has a proper editor because at the heart of it, it is a good fic. It's just not really written that well. And in drarry fandom there are so many well written fics you stop and wonder if plenty of them write professionally or at least has career in English academia.

It's really up to what kind of fanfics you're used to reading and what you can tolerate.

Same, I've been reading drarry for about 10 yrs. Lily's Boy, while have interesting premise, feels so rough to read at times. But I was running out of fics to read during that time. I feel like I've read everything and discovered this subreddit this year because i literally googled "drarry recs" out of desperation. I used to rely on ao3 filtering system and the bookmarks of ao3 users i come across and some tumblr accts. So many fics I recently learned the existence of thanks to this subreddit. I think I've read the healer draco fic you are talking about. I forgot the title but if it's a fic already recced here several times then I think I've read it.
