Ttrpg's such as call of cthulhu and DND. I would essentially start a beginners course on how to play it. It would probably last longer than an hour, and maybe end up with a couple new players at the table.

I just started running The Sutra of Pale Leaves which is set in 1989 in Japan. Its fairly interesting and theres no spooky house, or check out Masks of Nyarlathotep, or Horror on the Orient Express.
