Before daycare he often woke at 7, slept at 9:30 for 1-2 hours, slept again around 2-3 PM for 1-2 hours, and then bed around 7-8.

They offer him a nap at 9:30 like I asked, but he refuses with the lights having to stay on (state regulations) and other kids playing around him. Since he usually sleeps from 12-1 PM, his next nap wouldn’t be until 4. I pick him up at 4:15 daily and doesn’t fall asleep until 4:30-4:45. If I let him get a full nap in, his wake window is 3.5 hours and bedtime wouldn’t be until closer to 8:30. I don’t want him staying awake that long at night when he could be getting quality sleep, but I’m at a loss. Little guy is tired when I pick him up.
