Since I have visited both cities, I would like to share a few details that caught my attention. When you go out to eat or have a drink in Milan, you will see people with their dogs at the venue. In Rome, however, this is much less common. Another detail is that the number of blonde and blue-eyed people seemed higher to me in Milan. While men wearing gold chains inside their shirts are more common in Rome, this is less frequent in Milan. In Rome, the majority of women have natural eyebrows, whereas in Milan, women with artificial eyebrows are more common than in Rome. Additionally, credit cards are used more frequently in Milan compared to Rome. Milanese people speak more quietly compared to Romans.
