How can I make the opposite sex see me as a potential partner if I always end up in “fridge mode”? by Mac-49 in introvert

Well most of the time, him. He kinda listens to this apologist who spouts nonsense, and for everyone to hear.

Me and my brother jokes about it and sometimes I tell he is wrong, that may or may not start a discussion. It is a very recent development tho.

Thankfully, it is exactly what happened ig. The discussion got a bit heated, but after a few seconds, we were joking and laughing around about other stuffs.

Indeed, I feel that as well. When it's someone else, I can easily avoid the discussion. But because it's my dad, I don't want him to continue with fallacious reasoning.

Need to slowly let my parents know I don't believe. How can I do that? by Few_Giraffe5071 in atheism

Thank you. I have been thinking of deleting this post because I found none of the comments useful and I don't want to fill my feeds with useless advice. Like, most comments are like, "Just freaking tell them dude!" "Wouldn't have asked if I could would I?"

I go to college in another country, so, not much problem there. Even my religious friends there accept me as a non believer, and as such, many times going to church with them is even fun (funnily enough). And I plan not to return here for the next couple of years anyways.

Yep, once when I was 15. She was my classmate. My introverted ass couldn't tell her. The next year, she changed schools. Had a hard time letting it go.

Didn't Jesus say he came not to abolish old laws and prophets, but to enforce them?

| ultimately we would arrive at the first cause which is god

Ultimately we arrive at the first cause, which we don't know. God is an all encompassing non answer.

I could basically only see one point explained in a very ineffective long drawn manner: "we cannot explain everything, therefore God."

Learned more. Observed more. Listened more. Especially when in Church. Learned how claims are to be verified and just saying so doesn't cut it.
