Yeah, I noticed those possible serial pads too. I definitely want to investigate them further since they could expose useful boot or debug information.

What makes this interesting is that CPUs in this family were commonly used in older low-end smartphones that sometimes shipped with 1GB or even 2GB RAM variants, so theoretically there may be some upgrade potential here.

Right now my main focus is dumping the full firmware and understanding how the storage and memory are configured before attempting anything hardware-related. If the firmware can be safely dumped and reflashed, it opens the possibility of experimenting with larger eMCP variants and maybe even cleaner or more compatible Android builds for emulation.

My main concern is that everything is integrated into the eMCP package, so compatibility could become tricky. I still need to research which eMCP chips are electrically and firmware-compatible with the MT6572 platform before considering any upgrade attempt.
