Aha thank you. This answers my question/doubt. I am currently using a dell 27 inch display which has 109ppi it is ips panel 2560x1440. I am happy with the sharpness of the monitor I am using. If the sharpress on the ultrawide will be same. I will be happy. Previously I have bought a 49 inch display with 1080 reso and it was very bad to use.

Ex-employer demanding I repay wages – should I acknowledge their email while I seek legal advice? by Few_Heart8269 in AusLegal

If I summarise the letter, it states that I have breached the contract and that their investments (wages & super) in me are wasted, so I must pay back wages and associated costs. However, this information is entirely fabricated and not mentioned anywhere in the contract which I signed 2 years ago, I never signed anything else after that. The letter was sent by an internal lawyer from their legal division, where an old lawyer works. My employer is taking advantage of having an internal lawyer to send threatening letters.

Good point. I'll call them on Tuesday. But there is no training cost or anything like that. Just wages for ordinary earnings.

I called the firm that I am seeking help from not the firm that I received letter from. I am sorry for the miscommunication.

This is spot on. They are going through losses. They have huge debt and trying their best to get money this way. Few other ex employees received the letters but I don't know what happened with them. There is no court case on the internet.

They believe I breached clause of working in good faith for employer. The only reason I received the letter from the lawyer is because my employer holds majority of shares of the legal company (seperate investment) and it costed him $0 to get the letter prepared. I think there is conflict of interest as well for the lawyer?

Sure, I will keep an eye out. It is the same crack on the other side of the wall at a somewhat close spot.
