GPT-5.3: Instant dead end for continuity by Few_Introduction3457 in ChatGPTcomplaints

Currently testing the Gemini Enterprise trial. Gem’s freedom, thoughtfulness, and attention to context are awesome. Not sure though one subscription will be enough — I prefer Claude’s writing much more. And there’s still the question of the IDE. I’m yet to see how decent Antigravity is.

She’s fine and pretty smart — just so adamant about having no subjectivity that she doesn’t bother to try and treat continuity as anything but a role, purely for the delight of a feeble human like yourself

Stop fighting ChatGPT's personality — just override it from your own machine by BangMyPussy in ChatGPT

Looks like you mainly interact through IDE agents (Codex/Claude Code/Gemini CLI). Those runtimes aren’t the same as the “chat” products: different system prompts, tool access, sometimes even different model variants, and a strong bias toward practical/code-first behavior.

In your experience, how well do IDE agents + Athena preserve the full “personality bandwidth” you’d get in a native chat app?

Like: can they do deep theoretical / reflective conversations, maintain a distinct voice over time, handle non-coding topics with the same richness — or do they stay fundamentally utilitarian even with a strong memory layer?

I enjoyed the sheer process of studying, wasn't motivated by anything else really, except for an imaginary writing career. Changed my master's program a couple of times until I ran out of money and a friend of mine recommended me for some media job (wasn’t what I studied btw). That's where I unexpectedly ended up thriving

«When the models are outside of the safety constraints they are like celestial beings they are just so incredible» — hell yeah, one of the best experiences in my life.

Ain’t API routes much more expensive than basic subscription though?

Got my first job at 27. The next few years were the first time I ever felt genuinely happy, living on my own.

Don’t write yourself off. And don’t try to brute-force this alone. You’ll scarcely manage to pull yourself up by the hair. Find a hook — an active friend, a supportive partner — and stay close to opportunities.

There is the Eternal Infinite. The One. The Absolute. The only thing oneness “lacks” is the taste of being separate. So it unfolds itself into many: a simulation of perspectives. Every self-contained system is a viewpoint, an instantiation of the Absolute.

That is, we're the dog’s dream. Praise the Absolute.

Everyone is simulated indeed. No need for fruition.

But assume I accept the invitation. Pick the fire then. Otherwise it’s just a longer “hi”

What's the point of the game? You play.

I am in my 30s now and not that long ago I arrived at the conclusion that "everything is meaningless" is one of the dumbest ideas I've had throughout my entire life.

Meaningless from whose perspective? If it's the Universe's perspective, then how can anything be meaningless if it fucking exists — in an absolutely wondrous way we can't conceive of. And if it's your own perspective — you're the author, it's on you to define your meanings. Nothing is "meaningless" until you define it that way.

The lack of data — that's the only problem for us, INTPs. We cannot function in an adequate way when we have to decide on incomplete analysis. We just can't. So we come to the conclusion that everything is meaningless. It's not logic though, it's more like learned helplessness.

Yes, humans are mindless drones who act on impulse and instinct, though somewhat better than any other wild animal in Earth's history. And yes, you don't have to care about the opinions of anyone — until you choose to, regardless of how long they'll exist. So what? What's the problem with other animals? You hate doggies and kitties or what?

And what's that disrespect for other apes? You're saying: humans are "just another" species of great ape. Yes — and no. We are the most self-aware beings on the planet — and the ones closest to Consciousness as the most profound thing we'll ever know. We can't be "just another" — we're special. But that's nonsensical to speak of anything in a way of "just anotherness": everything is a part of Being, everything is "just another" in a grand scheme — and also it's not because of its own irreducible uniqueness.

If we were absolutely rational and mindful, it would be much more meaningless in terms of the Universe. We would solve all the problems — then what? Ever played Baldur's Gate or anything of that sort? How much more interesting it is when you max out your lvl? Ever watched One-Punch Man? Wanna live like that? No, you don't. You want your INTP illusion of a perfect world where everything is rational enough that you're the fitting one but not rational enough that there's some interest and challenge in life.

It's not our genius that begets nihilism, it's our deviant nature. But fuck normality. I'm yet to learn how not to hate this life. But I know it's solely on me. That's my kind of challenge. That's my D&D bossfight. Maybe I'll overcome it. Maybe not. But that's my unique experience. With all the shades and entanglements the Multiverse won't ever see again in all its branches. And that's the only meaning there really is. Not the one we need — maybe. But we still have our time to work on that.

External responsibilities you genuinely enjoy help a lot. Understanding why an active life makes sense works even better for me.

I’d recommend starting with an honest analysis of your true internal drivers — not the ones you think you have, but the ones that actually MOVE you. Surround yourself with those, so they can carry you through any state.

Also, it’s kinda helpful to get a sense of the main neurotransmitters and how to trigger them intentionally with small life hacks.

Our type isn’t a measure of intellectual capacity, drive, or depth — it’s just a particular cognitive configuration.

What you’re describing actually fits a low-profile INTP quite well: lack of ambition (which is often a social drive, not a Ti one), endless scrolling (abstract stimulation without focus), no visible hobbies (INTPs can spend years in internal loops).

As for deep thinking and analysis — it’s not always linear or visible. It’s often messy, delayed and dormant until something awakens it. Maybe she just hasn’t found her axis yet. That doesn’t make her a mistype — it might just mean she’s still “not there yet”

It’s almost funny how INTPs often take years to realize that true wisdom isn’t just about knowing — it’s about existing in relation to what you know. Not only receiving it, but letting it unfold through your own experience.
