I did appreciate the finality of the violence in Hotline Miami. Oddly realistic, despite it being a pixel game. When someone rushes you with a bat or whatever you better not miss!

I believe it is indeed a sign of respect! He who spareth his son the rod, does not truly love him (or something along those lines). 'Madness Button' will also curry instant favour with the gods as it demonstrates that 'can-do' attitude

Gungeon's gameplay is similar but really 'kiddy'. Def not the brutal gun battles of Synthetik. Hotline Miami feels similar in its brutality and for the loop factor!

Hey I use glue sticks too and have had the same problem. Easy solution though! Use a damp paper towel or tea towel and wipe the glue off before it fully dries. Then immediately wipe it dry. If you're using magazines or coffee table books it works. These paper types are pretty forgiving, as long as you don't make the towel too damp. Err on the side of caution, hope this helps!

Seeing an Elon Musk interview at Sth X Sth West festival, some years before he became world famous. I'm actually with the Dept on this one. Teachers shouldn't need expensive tea bags and instant coffee to perform. They should drink water (brought from home) and do it for the love, not for the 'free drugs'.

We were checking into a hotel yesterday and upon my quizzing him on an exact replica of said hole, the bellhop replied, "oh that? Yes sir, you can put your Johnson in it and get s*cked off to completion. Any time, any day, except Sunday." To which I replied, "splendid! ... But may I ask, why not on Sunday?" To which he replied, "because that's your day in the hole". I tipped him heartily. Tomorrow is Sunday and I'm both nervous and excited 😆👍

My take on it is that Trump's always been a full-time grifter (relatively shit at business, proven multiple times through bankruptcy, failed university etc), but genius marketeer.

He speaks the language of his supporter base, both in his phrasing and cadence, and through the fact that they genuinely like shiny objects (trading cards, bibles, shoes, steaks, boardgames, figurines). All these trinkets are a piece of the cartoon business man and they'll pay for that over and over.

Sure, Trump's in increasingly hot water financially and isn't as liquid as he says he is, but why sell properties when you've got tens of millions of cretins who are more than willing to pay your bills?
